Coach mode: what it is and how it helps you stay on track
How /today and /weekly work, why there’s one weekly question, and how to get a clear plan without overload.
12/24/2025 coachdaily planweekly summary
Coach mode in NutriAI is not motivational talk. It’s short, data-driven guidance based on your logs, so you don’t have to guess what to do next.
What the coach gives you
- /today — daily plan: remaining calories + 1–3 concrete steps.
- /weekly — weekly summary: insights and a weekly focus (where calories “leak” most).
- 1 weekly question — to tailor guidance to your main struggle (evening/delivery/sweets/snacks).
What it looks like in practice
- You send a meal photo.
- If needed, you quickly adjust portion and hidden calories.
- The coach uses your day/week context and gives a next step that’s easier to follow than generic advice.
Why the weekly question matters
Different people slip in different ways:
- for some it’s evenings,
- for others it’s delivery,
- for others it’s sweets or snacking.
Once the bot knows your pattern, tips become shorter and more relevant.
How to get the most value
- Log at least 1 meal a day (enough to build consistency).
- Mark oil/sauce/drink if present — otherwise estimates will be consistently low.
- Think in weeks, not perfect days: /weekly shows what actually blocks progress.
Related: Hidden calories: oil, sauces and drinks.
If the coach is temporarily unavailable
Sometimes AI can be temporarily unavailable. The bot will tell you to try again later.
